V2bTraining: Objective C 2 0
EN | 4GB
Our goal is to make all users fluent in the language they’ve chosen to learn. Our online video tutorials provide beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons.

Every one of our videos features a detailed walkthrough (accompanied by explanations) of how to accomplish whatever task it covers. Learn to use Objective-C and the iPhone SDK, with all of its included libraries like the UIKit and Foundation, to write fully functioning iPhone and iPod touch applications.
Objective-C Variables
Learn the basics of the basics with the Objective-C programming language: variables. See how Objective-C variables are based completely on C variables.
Objective-C Methods
Learn the basics of Objective-C methods by watching a small keynote presentation, then going into interface builder to create a few simple methods that will change the value of 3 UILabels.

How optimized processes make IT departments run smoothly

For IT departments to run well, there are processes that need to happen. In a small IT department, each person takes on many — if not all — of the processes and manages them individually. But in a big department, the processes need to be shared among job roles, standardized, and managed for maximum efficiency.

That’s what IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM) are all about — managing the processes within an IT department to make the department run well and to make sure resources are available as needed. This certification and skill set are valuable to medium and large companies because it helps them get the most of their IT investment — both in the technology and in the people.

Here’s what you’ll learn in each of the ITIL Foundation videos:

Video 1 – “Introduction to ITIL”
Video 2 – “IT Infrastructure Library”
Exchange Server 2010 Backup and Recovery Training DVD
DVD 1+2 | Runtime ~8 hrs | 2.44 GB
Genre: eLearning
As mentioned in the previous chapter, the messaging and collaboration servers are mission critical, being perhaps the most vital servers in our datacenters today.
It’s therefore of the utmost importance that these servers be up and running all the time.
Most service level agreements today require more than 99.99 percent uptime when it comes to the messaging and collaboration servers in the organization. In the previous chapter we showed you some of the options available to provide high availability of the Exchange 2007 Mailbox Servers. But even if you have HA solutions such as CCR-based mailbox servers available, a disaster can still strike in your environment, and if this happens, you better be prepared since downtime typically means lost productivity and revenue. In this chapter, we’ll go through the steps necessary to back up the different Exchange 2007 Server roles in your organization, and, just as important, look at how you restore Exchange 2007 servers and data should it be required.
Our Comprehensive Exchange Server 2010 Backup and Recovery Training Course Teaches You the Skills You’ll Need to Protect Your Data Using Resiliency, Redundancy, and Recovery. You’ll Work Hands-On to Analyze Exchange Environments, Determine Several Different Disaster Recovery Concepts, Customize Your Environment Using Command Line Tools and Much More!

Tekpub – Hacking WebMatrix 2011
English | flv yuv420p 852×480 23.98 fps | MP3 44100Hz 128 kb/s Stereo | 568 MB

In this short production Rob Conery hacks into Microsoft’s “Scripter Framework” and builds the foundations of a dynamic Web Framework using C # 4, Razor, and Microsoft Web Pages. Along the way you can see how Massive was built, along with Manatee (simple Migration framework) and Quixote (high-level testing framework).

Content
1 – What Do We Have To Work With Here?
2 – Cleaning Things Up, Making It Sweeter In this episode Rob cleans up the “out of the box” experience using some conventions borrowed from Rails, then drops in his “Sugar” library from SubSonic to make working with C # 4 a little more fun.
3 – Data Access with Massive In this episode Rob dives into using System.Dynamic – a new feature in C # 4 – with everyone ‘favorite part of application development: Data Access. Along the way Rob spawns a new movement in. NET data access – the Micro ORM.
4 – Layouts and URLs In this Episode Rob DIVES INTO the flexxible Friendly Layouts and built-in to Microsoft Web Pages and WebMatrix. Topics include Layouts, Sections, Page Start and AppStart – and once again System.Dynamics.
5 – Migrations with Manatee In this Episode Rob Takes on Migrations – a feature That is the Cornerstone of Building out your Database in Rails. Borrowing just about every concept from that framework, Rob turns JSON and System.Dynamic into a flexible database schema builder.
6 – High Level Testing With Quixote In this Episode Rob fixes up a glaring Hole in the WebMatrix Story: Lack of the Testing. Quixote was created in this episode and is a high-level testing / acceptance framework built on Razor and, yes, System.Dynamic. It’s also one page coming in at less than 500 lines of code.

C# is Microsoft’s entry into the world of managed programming. Using a syntax that is deliberately reminiscient of Java, C++ and C, C# achieves a natural tradeoff of terseness and clarity, enabling programmers to express concepts in a clear and maintainable form. Recent enhancements to the language have made it even more powerful than before, allowing programmers to work with C# in both an object-oriented and partially functional style.

iDeveloper TV: Learning Objective-C tutorials
English | M4V 960 x 540 | AAC 128kbps | 787 mins | 7.12 GB
Genre: eLearning

objective-C is the language you have to use if you want to write fantastic apps for Mac OS and iOS.
This soup-to-nuts course on objective-C gives you the solid basis in objective-C that you absolutely need for writing applications for these platforms. This course is designed to be the the perfect foundation for you to start from whether you’re going to be coding on either Mac OS or iOS.

In this 13 hour video training course we start out with the absolute basics, introducing you to Xcode and how to compile an application, we then move on to basic C language constructs and types. We show you how to declare and use functions, procedures, and so on. Then we move on to object Oriented Programming, and cover how OOP is implemented in objective-C and how to use objects in your apps. We also cover memory management in depth so you can be sure to write apps that do the right thing when it comes to allocating and freeing memory. We even cover garbage collection as well, so you know how and when you can use GC in your apps.

You might think that a basic course like this leaves out the more advanced features of objective-C, but not this one! After we introduce you to all the basics, we then move right on to more advanced concepts like blocks, protocols, categories, error handling and more!

Finally, we give you an introduction to the Foundation framework. The Foundation framework is an absolutely fundamental part of objective-C, and understanding of this important library is critical for both Mac OS and iOS development. You will use the Foundation framework in every app you write. We introduce you to the most used classes in objective-C and show you how to use them.

In short, if you’re new to objective-C, this course is an absolute must for you. But even if you’re an experienced developer who wants to come up to speed on some of the newer language constructs in objective-C such as blocks and properties, this course can still be a huge benefit to getting you moving in the right direction. Even if you’re an existing iOS developer who is moving to Mac OS development, and you want a refresher on core programming concepts as well as an introduction to garbage collection, this course can be a benefit to you.

Abou Jiva DeVoe

Jiva is an author, blogger, and software developer with nearly 20 years of experience in the software industry. His first computer was a Commodore VIC-20, on which he learned BASIC and assembly language. From there, he gradually worked his way through C, C++, Python, Ruby, Java, and finally objective-C. Over the years, he’s shown himself to be a proven innovator by always being on the bleeding edge of diverse new technologies. In the early 90′s, he worked as a founding member, and lead developer for the Diaspar Network, an early virtual community which pioneered online commerce.

Later, he worked in mobile application development on early wireless handheld computers, and was co–inventor of dynamic route selection software designed to be used by Tier 1 Internet bandwidth providers. Today, he works primarily with objective-C, Cocoa and Cocoa Touch. He has been writing Mac apps since 2002 and iOS apps since 2008, and knows how to break programming concepts down to their basics so you can understand them.
