In this tutorial we will discuss a variety of ways that we can work efficiently between Mudbox and Maya. Mudbox and Maya are very complementary packages. Maya gives us the ability to build up our models, rig and animate them, and render them. But Mudbox allows us to use a much more artistic approach to shaping and sculpting our models. It also allows us to paint textures very quickly and with a lot of power. By leveraging these two applications together, we can really create a solid workflow. In this tutorial we’ll look at ways to get geometry and textures back and forth between Maya and Mudbox.
Genre: Elearning

In this series of lessons you will get a ground up look at the powerful sculpting and texture painting application, Mudbox. We will begin by taking a look at the Mudbox interface and talking about the basics of working with geometry in Mudbox.
We will cover methods for getting geometry into Mudbox, how to transform it around the scene, and subdivide it in preparation for sculpting.

We will proceed from there by using a project based approach to cover the sculpting and painting tools. We will also create our own Vector Displacement Maps that we can use to sculpt. We will talk about changing our tool properties to get different results and using stamps and stencils to create various looks. We will go over some on-target presentation features in Mudbox and move on to painting textures. We will cover the Mudbox paint layer functionality and talk about new features in 2012 like uv-less PTEX painting and layer masks. We will talk about the Pose tools and painting opacity maps for our meshes. We’ll finish up by talking about how Mudbox integrates with other applications like Photoshop, Maya, 3ds Max, and Softimage. This course will give you the chance to learn the ins and outs of Mudbox by going through the process with a project based approach. Once you have completed these lessons, you will be able to take what you have learned and apply it to your own work.

This five part series will focus on the topic of setting up a variety of lighting rigs that reflect natural lighting at different times of the day and manmade interior lighting.
Each of the chapters will use the same base scene as a starting point, and will show a step by step guide to finding a lighting and rendering solution that best reflects the desired lighting situation.

The tutorials will explain the type of lights used and how to set up the parameters along with talking about the different methods of tackling the subject. The manipulation of textures may also be covered in order to turn a daylight scene into night scene for example. The artists will also look at some useful post production techniques in Photoshop in order to enhance a final still.
[I3D]training product: Next-Gen Game Development with Unity3D Vol I
English | 1280×720 | 5 hours 30 mins | MP4 | 2.17 GB

Gender: elearning

This training product is designed for anyone who needs to learn professional next-gen game development with the powerful Unity3D engine.
This training title shows how to work with the Unity Editor to setup a next-gen game environment using new tools and features found in Unity 3.0. Topics that are covered in-depth include realtime lighting, working with the powerful Beast Lightmapper included with Unity, general workflow, post processing effects, advanced materials and shaders, as well as performance optimization and publishing, and more.

This is the most detailed and in-depth next-gen game development training series for Unity3D in the industry and benefits beginners with an easy and straightforward approach to learning some of the most advanced features and tools in Unity3D, however it also covers advanced techniques and professional features that advanced users and developers should take advantage of to make games render like AAA next-gen productions. This training product focuses on workflows and features with Unity Pro 3.0. Unity Pro is the professional version of Unity3D and includes hi-end professional tools and features that are NOT available with Unity Basic (the free version of Unity3D). Please note that if you are working with Unity Basic, you will not be able to use the advanced features and tools exclusive to a Unity Pro license, which are taught in this tutorial series. However, if you need to learn professional next-gen game development with Unity3D, this is the training product you have been looking for; there is simply nothing else like it out there when it comes to Unity3D professional training. This training product includes asset files, such as geometry and textures. Unity Pro 3.0 is required if you wish to accomplish results demonstrated by instructor
