Combining Live Action With CG In Maya And Boujou | 212 MB
This tutorial is aimed at beginners of 3d or compositing packages who wish to integrate their CG scenes/character with real world video footages. I introduce the invisible art of camera tracking from the ground up here.
So in this tutorial you also get a chance to learn the art of Matchmoving from an introductory level. Combining computer generated (CG) characters with live-action footage can be a very rewarding experience. It has traditionaly been very difficult to make the digital character realistically seem to be a part of the real world. But now, the cats out of the bag, and i am going to show how. One of the challenges in making a CG character part of a real background is making the character move in exactly the same way the camera was moving in the real world. his is accomplished trough Matchmoving (camera tracking).
